More than uPVC or composite, but less than people often think. A re-coat of stain, oil or paint every 4–7 years (depending on exposure) keeps the door looking new and protects the timber long-term. We'll advise on the best finish for your aspect.
Yes — timber is often the only material approved in conservation areas and listed buildings. We can supply doors with appropriate mouldings, panel proportions and ironmongery for heritage properties.
